LSC consists of eight colleges, eight Workforce Centers of Excellence, five satellite centers, and two University Centers. Lone Star Corporate College offers technical training for businesses customized to fit their needs.Â

Complete Pre-Assessment Activity and Placement Testing
Unless TSI Exempt, all students take the TSI assessment to enroll. To learn more about the pre-assessment (required prior to testing), test options and fees, exemption criteria and remote/online testing, see the Placement Test Preparation website for more details.
Bacterial Meningitis Vaccination
The bacterial meningitis vaccination requirement must be satisfied at least 10 days prior to attending classes that include a face-to-face component taught at an LSC campus. Students who are enrolled in classes that are taught fully online are exempt from this requirement.
Submit Transcripts
High school transcripts should be submitted to Lone Star College upon high school graduation. College transcripts are required from all institutions attended.
New Student Orientation
All First Time in College Students are required to complete New Student Orientation before registering for class. Â Orientation can be accessed online through the Applicant tab in myLoneStar.edu.
CHSRMA Completion
Campus Health, Safety, & Risk-Management Awareness (CHSRMA) modules foster a supportive learning environment.

Student Housing & Residential Life is a department within Student Affairs consisting of three primary areas: Residential Life, Operations, and Housing and Conference Services. Students live in seven distinct housing areas that provide a comprehensive student services program. These areas are managed by full-time, live-in staff members, including professional Residence Life Coordinators, faculty-in-residence and Resident Advisors (student staff).
