Clear Creek Golf Club

Often mentioned in Houston as "the Best Conditioned Golf Course in South Houston," Clear Creek Golf Club ensures you will find not only a great golf course at a great value, but also one fun round! A laid back atmosphere and a friendly, professional staff that thrives on making every guest feel right at home, is just the start to an exceptional day on the course at Clear Creek.

Conveniently located close to downtown, The Medical Center and The Galleria, this 6,758-yard, Scottish Links course, designed by Finger, Dye and Spann, offers water on 5 of its 18 holes and is lined by beautiful trees around Tom Bass Park. Clear Creek provides a pleasant, yet challenging, round for golfers of any ability.

Golfcrest Country Club

With over 600 member families, it is a very exciting time to be a part of Golfcrest. The club offers family friendly activities, casual dining, amazing course conditions and outstanding tennis facilities and staff.

Built in 1927 by Troupe Earnest Gammage, Sr., the club was originally located in Southeast Houston between Holmes Road and Telephone Road. The original facilities included a premier 6,000-yard golf course, an attractive Spanish-style clubhouse, clay tennis courts, and an Olympic sized swimming pool. In 1934 the club was sold to W.T. Carter of the Carter Lumber Company. Ten years later, the club was sold to the members of the club and it has remained member owned for over 60 years. In 1971, the club was relocated to its present location in Pearland, Texas. Joseph S. Finger was chosen to design the current 7,000-yard, 18-hole championship golf course. Tellepsen Construction Company designed and built the Clubhouse and the Golf and Tennis Pro Shops. The beautiful pagoda-shaped Clubhouse provides an excellent panoramic view of the 9th, 15th, 16th, and 18th holes.

For over 35 years, Golfcrest Country Club has been a valuable asset to the Pearland community hosting various charitable events, hosting PGA events, providing youth sporting programs, and a serving as a base for many community activities. Golfcrest Country Club has recently been renovated and offers even more amenities today than ever before.

The first hole is a mid length par 5 that offers a challenging start. The green can be reached in two with a pair of long straight shots. The drive favors the fade and accuracy is the key to playing this hole well.

Timber Creek Golf Club

Timber Creek Golf Club is a 27-hole golf facility that lies on 316 acres of heavy woods in Friendswood, Texas. The course, designed by Jay Riviere, was carved out of Oak and Pine trees and gives the golfer a feeling that is not found anywhere else on the South side of Houston or in the Houston golf community.

One million cubic yards of dirt were moved in to create the rolling looks of South Carolina, and 13 bridges were added to cross over Clear Creek — a creek that winds throughout the golf course. Rock outcropping strategically placed add to the beauty of this Houston golf course.

For the golfer who has to work late, Timber Creek Golf Club is equipped with a lit driving range where you can sharpen your skills or take a lesson from a P.G.A. Golf Professional. Timber Creek Golf Club has an eager staff that is committed to providing you with customer service that will make your Houston golf visit memorable.

Our clubhouse consists of 6500 square feet and features a well supplied pro-shop with a restaurant/bar that is open daily. Locker rooms with showers are also available. Our 200-seat open-air pavilion is equipped with a grill and is perfect for tournaments, private parties or in providing a good scenic view for some post-round beverages.
